Client brief
Launched in December 2021, Piloc builds a 100% online rental journey for landlords and tenants alike. The product makes life easier for both sides and lets people rent like pros, turning peer-to-peer rentals into something simple, fast and secure.
The founders had built a first no-code MVP in-house and quickly hit the ceiling of that approach. They were looking for an agile partner, comfortable challenging the spec, to re-platform on a properly evolutive technical foundation.
Our approach
We opened with an advisory phase: analysing and re-thinking the client's first mock-ups, then redrawing the UI / UX wireframes and the key user journeys together.
Our team then built the platform, with page-by-page QA carried out side-by-side with the client to make sure every part of the brief landed.
We supported go-live, then helped Piloc internalise its tech team - hiring the CTO and the first developers - to make them fully autonomous and crystallise the start-up's enterprise value.
The project today
Launched in December 2021, the project has been a fast success: the platform now manages several thousand rental units and over 100 property managers.
After go-live and the internalisation of the engineering team, Piloc had a solid product foundation and an organisation able to keep evolving the platform autonomously.
