Inside the project
Client brief
Agora.Place, renamed Dipli in 2022, builds a circular platform for the second life of electronic products. The company connects distributors, leasing companies, industrial players, manufacturers and enterprises to secondary markets, with trade-in, return management, refurbished devices, omnichannel distribution, fulfillment and market-data capabilities.
Between 2019 and 2021, the marketplace was being structured around a clear ambition: becoming a more modern, intuitive and steerable tool, able to absorb growth, automate pricing rules and give teams better visibility over orders, partner programmes and operational profitability.
Our approach
We worked in coordination with Agora.Place's engineering team to evolve their marketplace, delivering several successive modules:
- Creation and display of recommended retail prices linked to product groups
- Price alerts, with Sendinblue integration for email and SMS notifications
- A Minimum Order Quantity module, including code review, testing and acceptance
- A marketplace / dropshipping dashboard to process non-integrated orders, arbitrate price discrepancies, adjust prices by programme and monitor Back Market / Amazon buybox prices
The engagement was run very close to the product and engineering teams: functional scoping, prioritisation, development, code review, testing and progressive production releases.
The project today
Since then, Agora.Place has become Dipli and sharpened its ambition: simplifying the full value chain for the second life of electronic products, from trade-in to fulfillment and market data.
We are proud to have contributed, at a structuring moment in their development, to making the business tools that supported marketplace growth and operational maturity more robust and complete.
