Client brief
Appart Beauté is an aesthetic-medicine and laser hair-removal clinic in the heart of Paris, across two locations (Opéra and Rive Gauche). The clinic supports its members day-to-day on a wide range of treatments, with a strong focus on hospitality and a smooth experience.
On the operations side, the client was juggling several separate tools at the counter: invoicing and CRM in Axonaut, card payments via Stripe and SEPA direct debits via GoCardless. This fragmentation complicated till operations and the tracking of collected payments.
The need: a bespoke platform unifying invoicing and payments, interconnected with those external systems, to simplify members' payment journey and make the clinic's accounting more reliable.
Our approach
We designed and built a bespoke payment-management platform: home page with invoice and payment listings, payment initiation and detail, and four sub-modules dedicated to counter operations - "Initiate a new payment", "Close the till", "Cheque deposit" and "Cash deposit". User management relies on two roles (Admin / User) with secure login and password recovery.
The heart of the project was a complex API integration layer with three external providers: real-time sync of invoicing with the Axonaut accounting system (invoices, clients, net / gross amounts, collected payments and payment modes), card-payment exchange with Stripe, and SEPA direct debits with GoCardless. A strict write policy (add-only on the Axonaut side) preserves the integrity of the accounting data.
In a second phase, we added client management imported from Axonaut (listing, search and detail sheet) and integrated DocuSign e-signature: sending signature requests from pre-filled templates, retrieving the signed document and automatically archiving it to the corresponding Axonaut client file.
The project today
The platform now unifies the clinic's billing and payment flows at the counter, simplifying both the members' experience and the back-office accounting work.
The engagement made collections more reliable and simplified day-to-day operations, laying a stronger foundation for the clinic's future internal evolutions.
