Inside the project
Client brief
Accor is Europe's largest hotel group and the world's sixth-largest, with 5,200 hotels, 420,000 employees across 110 countries and €4.2bn in revenue in 2022.
Within the group's HR department, our client wanted to build a co-mentoring platform that would allow every employee around the world - including front-line staff with limited day-to-day computer access - to connect with each other to share know-how and the key competencies of their roles.
Our approach
We built the platform from a blank page: scoping workshops with the HR teams, visual design, UI / UX advisory, and a detailed brief co-written with the client.
Once the brief was signed off, our full-stack team coded the platform on Symfony, leveraging the framework's native modules wherever possible to guarantee long-term consistency and maintainability.
Active Directory integration lets every employee across the group sign in automatically and securely from anywhere in the world. Given the sensitivity of the personal data stored and the GDPR requirements, specialist firms ran intrusion tests to validate the security level required by the group.
The project today
The platform is now live and used daily by many hotel directors and employees across the group worldwide.
We have hosted and managed the platform since go-live and are regularly engaged by the client - through our ticketing tool - for evolutive and corrective maintenance work.
We are proud to have built a long-standing relationship of trust with Accor and to contribute, at our scale, to carrying the values of French hospitality around the world.
